"The Beckers are a really lovely family who truly care about the kids they watch. They are nurturing and attentive to our sons needs and always willing to discuss any concerns we might have. Before sending our son to the Beckers, he attended a corporate daycare center. After switching, we couldn't believe the difference. He was a happier boy from the start. Morning drop-offs were a breeze and he also seemed to contract fewer colds/viruses. Kitty Becker did the play-based curriculum before it was the latest buzzword in child development. The Beckers are always reading to the children in their care, doing science experiments with them, planning little adventures in the backyard, and just generally having fun while also learning. At the same time, they keep to a regular schedule so that the kids know what to expect every day. I highly recommend Kitty Becker's Family Daycare."

"The Beckers are truly one of a kind. They are amazingly patient, kind, and humble, and they provide an enriching, peaceful, homey environment focused on books, art, music, creative and outdoor play, and friendship/ caring for one another. I have never in 6 years heard an elevated voice or seen anyone lose their temper or speak crossly to a child.... they always know how to diffuse a situation with gentle redirection or humor. They also work individually with children to help them advance in basic reading, writing and math concepts, which encourages the kids to enjoy learning and usually results in them being more advanced than their peers (so it's a great place for toddlers/preschoolers as well as babies!). Both my children attended for 2+ years each and developed strong bonds with both John and Kitty, and the other kids (and their siblings).... whenever we have a chance to drop in for a day or so my kids are beside themselves with excitement for weeks in advance. JnK seek a good mix of younger/older kids which allows the little ones to learn from the older ones, and then when older, to learn how to be kind and generous with the younger ones. JnK are also very generous with their availability (ie great hours, open on many snow days, extra babysitting, etc). Definitely recommend!!"
