When you work with kids, it's more than just a job. Becker Day Care first came to be in 1996 and has been running steadily ever since. Our mission from the start has been to run a family day care as an elite, fun school. Kitty's background is as a German au pair who was studying to be a physical therapist. John is an award-winning playwright/musician who taught theatre in the Montgomery County public school system and taught guitar to both children and adults.

We use fun learning materials, music, art, science experiments, puzzles, creativity and more to encourage kids to grow to their full potential. Importantly, we achieve this while allowing the kids to play, have fun, laugh, and make friends.

Our very first rule is "be nice to each other."

Kitty and John both have twenty years of experience and training in every aspect of child development and health, which includes CPR and First Aid.

​

We're conveniently located in Silver Spring near Kensington, MD.
